Supporting every child to flourish as their authentic self
Services for Families
I offer a range of services for children, young people and families. All work is tailored to the individual child and their context, with a strong focus on understanding, collaboration and finding realistic ways forward.
These services are accessed privately by families and sit outside statutory education processes. They are not part of an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) assessment, and I do not offer tribunal reports, tribunal representation or advocacy. Families often choose this support to gain psychological understanding, guidance and practical strategies for their child, without the formality or timescales of statutory systems. This work can sit alongside school support or local authority involvement, but it does not replace statutory assessments or legal processes.

With consent, recommendations may be shared with schools or other professionals to support joined-up working. However, families remain in control of how information is used and shared.
Please note: Sessions outside central Bristol/South Gloucestershire WILL incur additional travel charges of 45p per mile.
A gentle note
Every child and family is different. If you’re unsure which service feels right, we can talk it through together and decide on the most supportive next step. My approach is flexible and collaborative, and plans can adapt as understanding develops.

Initial Consultation
£120 (free when booked as part of a full assessment)
A one-hour meeting, either in person or online, to talk through your concerns, gather background information and think together about what might be helpful next. This is a supportive space for you to ask questions, feel heard and explore options without pressure. The initial consultation is included at no additional cost when part of a full psychological assessment. When booked as a standalone session, the fee includes brief written notes for your records, summarising key points discussed and agreed next steps.
Full Psychological Assessment and Report
£700
A comprehensive, personalised psychological assessment tailored to your child or young person. The focus is on developing a deep understanding of your child’s strengths, needs and experiences. This typically includes time spent with your child or young person, observations where appropriate, use of assessment tools, consultation with parents and, where relevant, liaison with other professionals. You will receive a detailed written report and a feedback session to talk through the findings and recommendations together. All recommendations are clear, practical, and solution-focused, designed to support meaningful change at home, in education and in daily life.
Mentoring Sessions
£100 per session
One-to-one sessions for children and young people who would benefit from additional support with their social, emotional or mental health. Sessions are relationship-focused and adapted to the young person’s age, needs and interests. Sessions are typically one hour. Brief written summaries can be provided for parents where helpful.
Targeted Tuition
£50 per session
Personalised academic support focused on specific areas such as literacy or numeracy. Sessions are tailored to your child’s learning style and needs, with an emphasis on building confidence alongside skills. Sessions are delivered online and last 45 minutes.
Coaching for Adolescents and Young People
£65 per session
Coaching sessions for older children and young people focusing on motivation, confidence, organisation, study skills and transitions. This may include support with exams, future planning, CV writing, applications or preparing for next steps in education, training or employment.
Sessions are one hour and are guided by the young person’s goals and priorities.

Parent and Carer Support
£100 per session
These sessions provide a supportive space for parents and caregivers to discuss concerns, ask questions, and make sense of what is happening for their child. The focus is on understanding behaviour, emotions and learning through a psychological lens, and thinking together about practical ways forward. Sessions are collaborative and non-judgmental. Rather than being told what to do, parents and caregivers are supported to build confidence, develop a shared understanding, and identify strategies that feel realistic for their family and everyday life.
This support can be helpful at any stage, whether you are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply want time to reflect and plan next steps. Sessions can be offered alongside work with your child or as parent-only support.
