'I would like to thank you for working with us at (Specialist Setting).  It feels like you have always been here and it very much feels like you are not newly qualified, and like you have been doing your job for years.  You have some great words of wisdom and when we are sometimes struggling to find the right thing for our young people.  To have someone like you come in with a fresh pair of eyes and some fantastic ideas just helps us tremendously. You have worked with some of our most complex students and have offered to attend their other professional meetings which is such  a unique and helpful thing to do. We now just need to keep you at XXXX.

Thank you for your brilliant practice.'

'We have been lucky enough to have Brooke work with our setting for about two years now. She always goes above and beyond to make parents and children feel comfortable and safe. She has a fantastic ability to really understand the children and develop meaningful relationships in a very short time which enables her to get a really clear picture of need as well as support school to develop clear targets and strategies. What is also helpful, is that targets are personalised and ambitious but also realistic for the child and school staff to be able to enact. Many of our parents and carers have said that they are so glad that Brooke is the one who is working with their child as they feel she really gets to know them and has such a positive impact on them. Her upbeat attitude to unpicking challenges with children's learning is so helpful especially when many strategies have already been tried and school staff are not sure what to do next.  Brooke provided whole school training for our setting. This included staff that worked with two year olds, all the way to eleven year olds. It was really appreciated by staff that Brooke had considered this in her training and ensured that there were strategies and information that was relevant and applicable to all ages. Staff found the training really engaging and have been able to apply it across the school. The children are also responding well to the strategies and we have used the resources Brooke shared in whole school assemblies which have been received really positively by them.  We have consistently found that Brooke is dedicated to supporting the young people, their families and the staff she works with. We have greatly appreciated the insight and support she has provided us along with her positive approach. '

'Although you have only been working directly with (Specialist Setting) for six months, you have already made a significant impact. In particular, I’ve noted the following

  • Approachability & Collaboration: You have been incredibly approachable and solution-focused from the outset. Your flexibility and willingness to engage in lengthy, multi-stakeholder meetings and discussions—often going above and beyond the standard EP offer—has been invaluable in ensuring all voices are heard.

  • Direct Observations & Casework: Your willingness to undertake specific pupil observations and casework within a reasonable timeframe has been fantastic. These observations provide a level of depth that ensures the school receives the responsive, evidence-based support we need to move forward effectively.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Your engagement with both parents and school staff has been consistently positive. You have a clear talent for building rapport and navigating sensitive discussions with empathy and clarity.

  • Practical Impact: The advice, strategies, and guidance you have provided are highly applicable to our school context. They are useful, actionable, and have already begun to support our staff in their daily practice.'

'As a SENCO new to the role at my current school (Mainstream Primary), I found Brooke’s knowledge of xxx and their systems to be very supportive. At the start of the year, we were able to identify children across the school who could access her support.

Her knowledge, not only from a personal and professional point of view, has been vital in the success of supporting whole school adaptive learning to individual EBSA engagement and placement maintenance.

Brooke has a flexible working ability and is reactive to the changes in school as they arise. Her ability to respond swiftly has eased pressure day to day at school, as the ability to implement advice and feedback has been timely.'

' Lilia has been having tuition with Brooke since Year 1, at different times over the years, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better tutor. From the very beginning, Brooke has shown such patience, enthusiasm, and creativity in her teaching. She always manages to engage Lilia in a way that makes learning fun and rewarding. Lilia has never really enjoyed schoolwork, but when it’s with Brooke, it’s a completely different story. Brooke has a wonderful ability to connect with her, to understand how she learns best, and to adapt lessons so that Lilia stays motivated and confident. The difference in Lilia’s attitude and progress has been amazing to see. Now that Brooke is helping Lilia with her GCSEs, we’re even more grateful for her continued support and dedication. Lilia looks forward to her sessions, and it’s clear that Brooke genuinely cares about her success and well-being. We can’t recommend Brooke highly enough — she has made such a positive impact on Lilia’s learning journey over the years!'

'⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We feel so lucky to have found Brooke! She’s been absolutely wonderful with both of my children (one of whom has SEN) and the progress they’ve made has been incredible. What really stands out is how Brooke takes the time to see each child as an individual, recognising their unique strengths and learning styles. She’s built up my children’s confidence so beautifully, not just in English, but in how they see themselves as learners. Lessons are always warm, engaging, and perfectly tailored to what each child needs and take into consideration any additional needs. I honestly couldn’t recommend Brooke more, she’s kind, patient, and genuinely cares about helping children grow and thrive.'

'Brooke has tutored our two children from primary school right through to their GCSEs, both online and in person. She’s incredibly adaptable and always finds the right way to teach each child, whether it’s English, Maths, or focused GCSE strategies. Brooke quickly understands where your child needs extra help and works to build both their skills and their confidence. Brooke has a lovely, friendly manner that children warm to straight away, and she balances being supportive with keeping them motivated and feeding back to parents after each session. Our son always found English and general studies difficult, but with Brooke’s help he passed all nine GCSEs, including English Language and Literature. We honestly couldn’t recommend Brooke more highly.'

'Brooke has been such a supportive and approachable tutor and mentor during my university journey. From the very first session, brooke created a safe and welcoming space where I felt comfortable asking questions and sharing my thoughts. She always adapts her teaching style to suit what I need to get the most out of our sessions. Brooke had always been easy to reach and genuinely willing to help, whether it was clarifying concepts after our sessions or giving extra feedback on assignments. Her kindness and patience have really boosted my confidence, whether that be with academic writing or organisational demands, and I’ve honestly learned so much thanks to their guidance which I will take with me going further into my future career'
